The idea is that your children will understand the New Testament much better if they have a thorough grounding in the Old Testament, but knowing that they'll repeat God's Word, over and over through their growing-up years, also means it's just fine to dig in wherever. :-) Yes, I think it would be fine. The basic structure of the day is OK, but it does need tweaking. However, clutter is my biggest challenge. Although we moved a year ago now, I still haven't found a place for everything, nor gone through the rest to donate/throw/sell and as we downsized, this is a significant task for me. And the foregoing are made harder by the fact that my resources are even more stretched since I became a single parent of two young children. Still, what I have accomplished so far has not been on my own strength, but the Lord's, and I am learning ever more in that regard. Order in the home is my challenge.
