I am sorry to announce that we are going to indefinitely postpone the release of Word Power. I know that you’ve all been waiting so patiently for the new books to be released.
I saw my chiropractor today, I did not get a fantastic report. My concussion symptoms have gotten worse over the past week, with vomiting, issues with balance, and a lot of eye problems. The headaches are pretty severe as well. Because it has been over five weeks since my injury, these are not good symptoms.
I am not to work at all, until there is improvement. He is preparing to refer me to a medical doctor, but I am also scheduled to see a naturopath on Tuesday.
I asked the doctor how long I need to stop working, and he said a minimum of a week and possibly as long as several months. Time will tell.
As you can understand, all new curriculum is completely off the table.
With my family’s help, I will work on making a list of all of the curriculum we have available on our Homeschooling Torah website now, matched up to what grades and ages should do those levels. This will help you continue on. We should have that ready soon.
If you need help coming up with plans for your children in the meantime, don’t hesitate to contact our staff.
Thank you all for your KIND and gracious notes, emails, prayers, and encouraging words. I am certainly not without hope, and I still believe in the healing power of our gracious Creator. All I can figure is that He has a sovereign plan that is different from what I was planning. I am also astounded at what I have learned about brain development and helping those with cognitive injuries. I am hopeful that this will help me give hope to others in the future.

I have been using the powerbooks for my kindergartener on the website…. Is that ok?

Don’t fret, we have the “old” language arts to use and it works well. We can start word power next school year. Take it easy until you are healed.
